For the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, Tudor unveiled a new colourway inspired by their Formula One partners, the Racing Bulls.
The Formula One Miami Grand Prix has come and gone, and what a race it was. After two cancelled races and a month off, the world’s most popular motorsport returned at breakneck speed. While the on-track story felt familiar, with Kimi Antonelli’s Mercedes surging to a commanding first place, the watches on display were anything but.
This is particularly true in the case of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) team, thanks to Tudor. Joining forces with the Racing Bulls in 2024, this is still a relatively new venture for the Shield. However, that hasn’t stopped them from quickly becoming one of the F1 paddock’s staple brands.
As such, they’ve begun an annual tradition of releasing watches in collaboration with the team. Last year saw the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25, finished in the team’s signature white and blue colours. Now, for 2026, they’ve switched things up with a new reference accented in yellow.
Cool Carbon Cases
Limited to 2,026 pieces, the new Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 is the brand’s latest partnered model with the Racing Bulls. At 42mm in diameter and 14.3mm thick, it’s no secret that this is a big, bold watch. The slab-sided case reinforces that presence, giving it a sense of robustness appropriate for its 200m water resistance.
While that might sound imposing on paper, the weight is offset by the use of a carbon fibre case. Complete with a fixed tachymeter bezel, along with black PVD titanium for the caseback, crown, and pushers, the Carbon 26 manages to stay light without compromising on strength.

In terms of wearability, the watch comes equipped with the same rubber and leather hybrid strap as the previous model. Coloured black with white stitching, it tapers down to a black PVD titanium pin buckle. One detail worth noting is how cohesive Tudor’s design language feels here; the hooded lugs, also made from carbon fibre, allow the watch to transition seamlessly from strap to case, removing the awkward gap that often affects strapped watches.
Code Yellow
Despite its modern construction, the Black Bay Chrono 26 remains unmistakably Tudor in its design. The Snowflake hands, as contentious as they may be, remain, as does the “panda” chronograph layout. Like last year’s model, the subdials are also made from carbon fibre, but this time the accents shift to yellow rather than blue.
It’s a hotter, more vibrant colour, fitting for the heat of Miami, and directly inspired by the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team car. Dubbed the VCARB 03, the striking yellow seen on the engine cowling is echoed on the dial of the Carbon 26, tying the watch neatly to the team’s high-speed identity.
Built To Win
As for the movement, Tudor sticks with a proven formula. The Calibre MT5813 returns, continuing its role across the brand’s chronograph line-up. Beating at 4Hz (28,800VpH) with a 70-hour power reserve, it’s built for performance. Much of this comes down to its COSC chronometer certification, ensuring consistently high levels of accuracy. You won’t see it in action, however, as it sits behind a specially engraved caseback featuring a chequered flag motif.

Initial Thoughts
Let’s not overcomplicate things here: this new watch is, ostensibly, a colour variation of last year’s model. Even so, the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 remains a clear statement of intent from Tudor. The brand continues to focus on creating stylish, reliable, and technically capable timepieces, while also expanding its global appeal.
And while the United States hardly needs help boosting its presence in Formula One, the sport itself remains one of the most popular in the world. With countless eyes on the cars, the drivers, and their wrists, Tudor is simply making the most of the opportunity. The result is a fresh take on an already strong model, and one we’re just as likely to see out in the wild as we are in the F1 paddock.
