TAG Heuer strengthens its retail footprint in Australia with the opening of the brand new boutique in Westfield Chermside, located in Queensland and the 9th standalone boutique in Australia!

The Swiss watchmaking brand is making significant milestones in its retail expansion strategy with the opening of this new boutique. The boutique is located within the Westfield Chermside shopping centre, which has seen quite a few renovations occur throughout the last year or so to make it a much more modern and vibrant shopping experience for customers. It is the perfect place for a new boutique opening for the luxury watch manufacturer.

TAG Heuer’s in-house architectural team in Switzerland has designed the Westfield Chermside boutique to be contemporary and cutting-edge while blending TAG Heuer’s rich heritage with the brand’s avant-garde spirit. The boutique showcases the brand’s core values, which have been a part of TAG Heuer since its inception in 1860. Values such as high levels of precision, passion for action, technology and innovation all lead to reliability and trust in the brand.

Boutique Showcases Different Colours That Ties Into The Brand’s Heritage.

TAG Heuer states that this new Westfield Chermside boutique “invites clients to explore the world of TAG Heuer through a sleek, sophisticated and contemporary space, characterized by minimalist and clean lines. Its expansive steel façade features prominent windows that provide a modern and welcoming space. Inside customers will find oak wood flooring, European furnishings, sleek counters, modern niches, and towers showcasing the collections.”

The colour palette chosen for the boutique gives a warm and luxurious feeling. The contrasting grey shades are accentuated by the flashes of the smoked mirror, which complements the stone and wood on the flooring and walls. The touch of blue used as a wall background, along with the blue on the surfboard, is a reference to TAG Heuer’s Monaco heritage, blending traditional and modern innovative materials nicely. The use of these materials is a testament to TAG Heuer’s commitment to durability, with all the materials being chosen in accordance with the green principles of the Life 360 initiative.

The boutique has been designed in a way to invite customers to embark on an immersive journey through the TAG Heuer 360o universe. Present throughout the boutique, customers will be able to get a glimpse into the brand’s 160-year history, where precision engineering, sporting milestones and groundbreaking technology are all showcased through captivating visuals, books and memorabilia.
