With the world cup well underway, Hublot is again acting as the Official Timekeeper of the FIFA World Cup 2022 for the 4th consecutive edition. In anticipation of this prestigious global sporting event, Hublot last month released the new innovative Gen 3 connected watch.

Hublot will be an active participant in the 2022 World Cup games as they will time all 64 games, including the final held in Lusail Stadium in Doha on December 18th. By far the biggest sporting event in the world, with over 1 billion viewers tuning in to watch the FIFA World Cup tournament. The 129 official referees will be timing the game with their new Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on their wrists.

This latest connected watch is Hublot’s highest performing and exciting Big Bang e. The watch now comes with a larger and better high-definition screen, allowing fans to follow the game in the newly designed dedicated football app.

Before the tournament begins, the Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, through its football app, will be in countdown mode. As the tournament is underway, before each match, the watch will deliver team line-ups and player profiles. When the match kicks off, the watch will automatically enter “timeline” mode, a feature exclusively designed for this watch. Timeline mode will help the wearer capture the most memorable and important moments within the match.

This all-new Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 comes in a 44mm black ceramic and black titanium case, which is micro-blasted and polished. It comes with a black and burgundy colour-lined rubber strap, which nicely adds colour to the overall black appearance of this timepiece.

The timepiece comes with some impressive hardware as well, including an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a microphone speaker, GPS, and a heart-rate monitor. The main engine behind this watch is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor powered by Wear OS 3, the latest version by Google. The watch is iOS and Android compatible, while the Bluetooth 5.0 feature will allow it to seamlessly connect to a range of devices and accessories. Hublot also promises a 24-hour battery life, with only 2 hours needed for a full charge from an empty battery.

The Hublot Big Bang e Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 will certainly be on full display during the tournament, a testament to the watch brand’s continuous innovation and development of its watches. The timepiece will only be limited to 1000 pieces, with all of them being highly customisable. As standard, it comes with a Burgandy strap. However, fans can change the strap colour and dial colour (through the smartphone app) to their choice of the 32 participating countries in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
