Celebrity Watch Spotting: Madison Beer Watch Collection!

by Sameera Gamage

In this latest Celebrity Watch Spotting article, we look at the American singer and her impressive watch taste!

Madison Beer is a famous singer and songwriter born in New York, U.S. While music is her main focus, she has also done acting with roles in both the film and television industry. Madison officially began her music career in 2013; however, she posted covers of songs on YouTube for some time before this.

Madison first gained internet popularity when she did a cover of Etta James’s “At Last” for her YouTube following. Justin Beiber came across this, and he then tweeted a link to the video to his followers, giving Madison instant popularity as she started trending worldwide on Twitter. At the time, Bieber officially signed Madison onto the record he was working for, “Island Records.”

While on the outside, it looks like Madison Beer has it all at such a young age, she certainly didn’t have it easy growing up. She has suffered mental health issues with both social media and the internet being causes and has also developed PTSD due to traumatic childhood events. However, she didn’t let this stop her, with her music career now on the rapid incline.

Madison has been nominated for multiple awards, which she has won the 11th Shorty Awards (2019), the Game Audio Network Guild Awards (2021), the 13th Shorty Awards – Videos (2021) and the 25th Webby Awards (2021). Madison stated that her inspiration for her music and songwriting came from artists such as Lana Del Rey, Daft Punk, Arctic Monkeys, Melanie Martinez, Lady Gaga, and Arian Grande. 2024 is off to a great start for the musician, as she is doing multiple concerts and tours across Europe, with the current one being in the United Kingdom.

While Madison is popular for her music, she is also known for her impressive fashion and luxury style. This includes her tastes in watches. Her collection of timepieces is quite admirable, as, unlike other musicians, she has a more down-to-earth taste and shows knows her watches when it comes to the world of horology.

Most of Madison Beer’s watch collection features timepieces in precious metals and ranges between Rolex and Cartier. Her favourite piece seems to be the Rolex Daytona ref. 116528 yellow gold with white dial, as she has been spotted on numerous occasions with this model. Her collection is a testament to timepieces not being gender restricted, as she wears some of the “larger” men’s models quite comfortably on her wrist. Read through below to see what other models make up Madison Beer’s watch collection!

Two-Tone Rolex Datejust 18k Everose Gold

Ref: 126231

Besides the yellow gold Daytona, this timepiece has to be one of my favourites in Madison’s collection. The 36mm model comes in a stainless steel case, with polished 18kt everose gold fluted bezel and crown. This is nicely matched by the three central links of the Jubilee bracelet, which is finished in 18kt everose gold as well.

The dial has a grey “dark Rhodium” finish, which contrasts well against the everose gold Roman numerals for the hour indices. Madison Beer may not have a large collection, but models like these are a testament to her class and taste when it comes to timepieces.

Australian Retail Price: $25,050 AUD

Rolex Datejust 41 Steel White Gold White Dial 126334

Ref: 126334

Another beautiful Rolex seen on her wrist is the Datejust 41 in white gold with a white dial. One of the more understated pieces in Madison’s collection, this white-dial Datejust comes with the iconic fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet combination, giving the timepiece a bit more character than the standard oyster 3-piece bracelet option.

Australian Retail Price: $16,500 AUD

Cartier Tank Francaise “Small” in 18k Rose Gold

Ref: CRWGTA0029

Another precious metal timepiece in Madison’s watch collection is the Tank Française Watch. This model comes with a Rose gold 750/1000 case, bracelet, and crown. The octagonal crown has a sapphire cabochon. The dial is finished in silver and has contrasting black Roman hour indices, as well as Cartier’s signature “blued hands.”

Approximate Australian Price: $36,300 AUD

18K Yellow Gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

Ref. 116528

The staple in her collection is this beautiful 18K Yellow gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. A timepiece she appreciates highly as well, with it arguably being spotted the most on her wrist out of all the timepieces in her collection. Categorised as a “Professional Sports” model by Rolex, this model is where old meets new.

Unlike the steel sports Cosmograph Daytonas, where the bezel is ceramic, this reference has a full 18k yellow-gold bezel. The movement inside is Rolex’s in-house calibre 4130, giving the timepiece a classic look while having a 21st-century build.

Approximate Australian Price: $63,000 AUD (on the secondary market as this reference is discontinued)

Cartier Yellow Gold Tank Anglaise

Ref: W5310014

Another 18k yellow gold spotted on Madison Beer’s wrist is the Cartier Tank Anglaise. This timepiece features an oversized case design, with part of the crown contained within the case. The watch’s case, bezel and bracelet come in the 18ct yellow gold material, with a brushed/ polished finish.

Approximate Australian Price: $22,000 AUD (On secondary market due to this not being in current production)

We can safely say that Madison Beer has a thing for gold watches, and classic tastes as all these pieces are more or less timeless watches with classic designs that are not going to go out of fashion anytime soon. Well done Madison!
