This isn’t just a tribute, it’s a declaration. The Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition captures the intensity, precision, and legacy of one of tennis’s greatest champions. Bold, technical, and unapologetically Hublot, it’s designed to stand out on and off the court!
With the tennis season up and underway for 2026, it seems like the perfect time to unveil Hublot’s latest tribute to Novak Djokovic. The Swiss watchmaker and the tennis mastermind have been in partnership since 2021, with their first collaborative timepiece being unveiled in 2024: the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic. When this watch was first released, it was met with such enthusiasm that it undoubtedly sold out fairly quickly. This timepiece, however, only laid the foundation of something even greater on the horizon.
Novak Djokovic sealed his 101st professional tournament victory in November last year, adding yet another chapter to what has been an incredible career that has seen him claim almost every major record in the sport. Among these remarkable statistics are 24 Grand Slam titles, an Olympic gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games, and a record 428 weeks as the world number one. With achievements like these, it’s safe to say that Hublot wasn’t going to hold back with this latest collaborative collection.
Released during LVMH Watch Week 2026, Hublot has introduced three expressions of its latest tribute to Novak Djokovic: the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition. Each of the three timepieces brings together material innovation, technical mastery, and Hublot’s unmistakable watchmaking approach. The collection also features colours that represent the three different playing surfaces on which Novak Djokovic has claimed victories throughout his career.
“Accordingly, there will be 72 pieces in blue, symbolising Novak’s hard court wins; 21 in orange for his clay court wins; and, making it the most exclusive, eight in green for his wins on grass. The 101 watches are numbered but not limited. On
the occasion of any future win, Hublot will add a further watch, colored according to the tournament surface.“

I have to say, Hublot has gone above and beyond in this latest collection and has stayed true to their DNA, creating timepieces that not only most would not dare attempt, but also surpassing their own limitations of what is possible. From mastering the “Art of Fusion” to create cases made from highly developed composite materials, to creating a movement that reflects a tennis racquet, the Hublot Engineers have really hit the ball out of the park with this one!

“For this highly anticipated second edition with Novak, we immersed ourselves deeper into his unparalleled universe, meticulously crafting a timepiece that celebrates his historic victories and embodies the very essence of his journey. The Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition is truly more than a watch; it stands as a powerful symbol of his relentless will to win, his extraordinary brilliance, and his unmatched greatness. This special series commemorates his unbelievable record in tennis, reflecting how, like Novak himself, this creation is designed to stand the test of time. We look forward to celebrating many more victories together.”
Julien Tornare, Hublot CEO.
Case Design
The Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic Goat Edition comes in as expected a 44mm x 14mm case size, but that is pretty much where it ends when comparing to the standard Big Bang Tourbillon models. Hublot truly show their mastery of the “Art of Fusion” here, with the three different models displaying different colours that are derived from a Hublot-developed composite made from Lacoste polo shirts and Head tennis racquets.
It is safe to say this high-tech, lightweight, rigid, marble material composite is exclusive to Hublot, with it being used only on the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic in 2024. For this collection. Hublot has used 12 blue polos, 4 orange polos, and 2 green polos, alongside 12 racquets to create the required number of timepieces for each watch.
The case’s middle section also features a different more advanced material called Titaplast®, known to be the world’s strongest polymer. Titaplast®has high-performance material capabilities similar to titanium, while also being able to be machined to fine tolerances to get the required shapes. The material also has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio,
along with a soft matte finish.

There are also subtle additions to this Big Bang Tourbillon that make it a remarkable tribute to the world of tennis. Firstly, the watches continue to point to Novak’s illustrious career in tennis, with the straps being made of white leather with white stitching that is also embossed, so that it gives the appearance of being padded and patterned like the grip tape on tennis racquets.
Secondly, the standard six titanium screws that are found in Hublot’s Big Bang models have been redesigned to be shaped like tennis balls. These are not just screws for aesthetic purposes either, as they hold the composite bezel in place. This is also why you don’t always see the screw heads lining up perfectly, even in the standard Big Bang models. Hublot’s engineers had to design a special S-shaped screwdriver head just to be able to tighten the screws.
Dial Design
The openworked dial of the Hublot Big Bang Novak Djokovic Goat Edition showcases the brand’s HUB6035 Manufacture automatic movement, which has been simplified to feature only what is necessary. There are two prominent displays on the dial, with the first being the micro winding rotor at 12 o’clock, and the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. I do like that the tourbillon bridges have been nicely colour matched to the case, which also allows it to stand out against the architectural framework of the movement.
If there were to be one improvement to the watch, it would have to be how the hands have been executed. The problem with skeletonised dials is that sometimes, depending on the colour of the movement bridges and framework, the hands blend in with the background, making it difficult to read the time at a quick glance.
While I haven’t had the chance to try on the watches in person, I can imagine that having the tips of the skeletonised hour and minute hands coated in the same colour as the case and bridges of the tourbillon will make them stand out much more against the movement, not only incresiing legibility, but, in my opinion, improving the dial aesthetic as well!
Movement
The engineers at Hublot have taken the base MHUB6035 movement and re-jigged the aesthetics so that instead of the traditional solid mainplate that holds the components in place, there is now an eye-catching three-dimensional lattice that takes the shape of tennis racquet strings.
This is by no means an easy venture, as each string measures approximately 0.55mm thick, while the connections to the mainplate edge are done by attachment points similar to those of a tennis racquet. Another intricate yet impressive detail is that the strings are intentionally irregularly spaced out, as you would find it to be on a tennis racquet mid-match.
While it may seem that the mainplate is a series of strings attached to keep the components in place, the engineers have cleverly created this lattice framework from a single piece that is machined in a high-tech laser-engraving process. Once it’s laser-engraved, the mainplate is then finished with a black PVD coating with a thickness of just a few microns. Novak Djokovic’s personal swooping “ND1” logo is then printed over it in contrasting white to stand out beautifully.
Matching the visually stunning aesthetics of the movement is the technicality of the movement. The movement is able to power the watch to 72 hours of autonomy, while operating at a frequency of 3Hz (21,600 VpH).
Initial Thoughts
When I first saw this collection, I was genuinely blown away by just how well executed these timepieces are. In my opinion, Hublot has clearly surpassed its first Novak Djokovic release with this GOAT Edition collection. Not only do these watches showcase everything the brand does best, from the bold design, material innovation to the technical confidence, but they also feel deeply connected to the world of tennis. From the dial architecture to the materials used, the sport’s influence is immediately visible, making this feel like a true collaboration rather than a simple name on the dial.
What makes this collection so compelling for me is how unapologetically Hublot it is. The bold use of Lacoste Polos and Head tennis racquets to create a composite material for the case and bezel is something I can only imagine Hublot executing. Add to this mix the tennis racquet-inspired movement architecture, and this release screams not wanting to play it safe and to give in to traditional norms. It makes for the perfect watch that completes an already established watch collection. This is not a timepiece you generally start with, but rather a watch that completes a collection that already has your traditional go to design!
Each variation reflects a different playing surface that Djokovic has conquered, adding narrative depth to the technical spectacle. It’s a confident demonstration of Hublot’s Art of Fusion philosophy at its most imaginative, resulting in timepieces that feel worthy of the man himself, Novak Djokovic.
“Thank you to my friends at Hublot for honouring me with this symbolic watch trilogy. As a boy, I dreamed about winning grand slams; I never imagined winning 24 Grand Slams and more than 100 pro tournaments. Reaching records beyond my dreams was possible with the support of my family, my team, my fans, and everyone who has cheered for me and believed in me throughout my career. Every day is an opportunity to reach new heights, and who knows, maybe add more watches to this collection.”
