A new chapter for Jaeger-LeCoultre has opened in Chadstone, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the world of fine watchmaking. From exclusive displays to the 1931 Polo Club experience, this is the Maison at its most captivating.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is expanding its retail footprint in Australia as they launch another boutique, this time in one of Melbourne’s biggest shopping malls located in Chadstone. The boutique had a soft launch in October, with the official unveiling being celebrated on the 19th of November.
Few names in Swiss watchmaking carry the quiet authority and rich heritage like Jaeger-LeCoultre. The brand has been built upon a reputation of technical mastery, artistic craftsmanship, and the unwavering commitment to innovation. Just like the in-house calibres that have been built by the Grand Maison, of which there are over 1300, the boutiques that represent the brand also showcase the deeply rooted traditions of the Vallée de Joux, being synonymous with precision, beauty, and horological innovation.
The boutique is located in the luxury precinct of Chadstone Shopping Centre, and it reaffirms Australia’s special place for Jaeger-LeCoultre, as this is now the second boutique in Melbourne. Not only is this a fantastic addition for Jaeger-LeCoultre, but for the Australian client base and watch enthusiasts, too, as it offers greater access to the Maison’s collections, craftsmanship, and personalised services. It reflects Jaeger-LeCoultre’s growing commitment to the Australian market and provides a dedicated space for clients to experience the brand’s heritage up close.
This new Chadstone boutique is also the first of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s new concept boutique designs that they are unveiling. Taking on the spirit of innovation and watchmaking expertise that is rooted in the Vallée de Joux, in Switzerland, the Chadstone boutique offers a warmer and more luxurious appearance. Unlike the previous boutiques, this new space features a lighter, more inviting aesthetic, thanks to the softer tones, natural colours, and the organic materials used throughout its design. The decor seamlessly merges tradition with modernity, evoking the serenity and beauty of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s home in Le Sentier.

The boutique, as expected, showcases the exceptional creations of Jaeger-LeCoultre, from the iconic Reverso, the adventurous spirit of the Polaris, to the refined sophistication of the Rendez-Vous collection. As you walk into the boutique, you are met with one of the highlight timepieces released this year at Watches & Wonders, the Reverso in the stunning Milanese bracelet.
The central island also showcases a few other iconic Reverso models, the ladies’ Reverso collection, along with Reverso Métiers d’Art timepieces as well. The Master Ultra-Thin series, which highlights Jaeger-LeCoultre’s expertise in creating elegant timepieces with ultra-precise calibres, is also showcased on the central island as soon as you walk into the boutique.

The left side of the boutique features the Polaris and Master Control series, giving visitors an immediate look at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s sport-chic and classic dress offerings. The right side, on the other hand, features the brand’s Rendez-Vous collection, which brings a softer, more graceful touch to the boutique layout. These timepieces emphasise feminine elegance while staying true to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s technical expertise. The specially curated display allows clients to explore some of the Maison’s most poetic and beautifully crafted creations.
A watch that deserves its own display is the Rendez-Vous Celestial. It is a piece that showcases Jaeger-LeCoultre’s approach to high-watchmaking. The star-studded sky chart, along with the stunning gem-set display, makes it one of the standout creations in the Rendez-Vous collection. Seeing this timepiece presented on its own makes you truly appreciate its beauty and complexity.
A Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique wouldn’t be complete without an Atmos clock, and the Chadstone boutique delivers. On display is the Atmos 568 by Marc Newson. Hand-picked specifically for the Australian audience, as this is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Atmos clock, designed by Australian-born industrial designer Marc Newson, one of the world’s most influential creatives. The floating, transparent sculpture is housed within a Baccarat crystal case that highlights the clock’s perpetual motion mechanism. A true fusion of horology, art, and modern design.

At the heart of the Chadstone boutique is a Personalisation Wall, which inspires clients to express their personality and style by customising their timepiece. An interactive Strap Bar invites them to experiment with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s complete strap collection for all models and discover their own perfect pairing of watch case with strap material, colour, and stitching.
The boutique also houses a VIP Lounge, where visitors will find a dedicated space that has been specifically designed to offer a refined experience to collectors and special clients. Like the boutique design, the VIP Lounge also features warm, elegant tones that create an intimate atmosphere, allowing the guests to browse Jaeger-LeCoultre’s collection at their own pace.
If you find yourself in Chadstone, make sure to visit the new Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique and experience the very best the Maison has to offer. Especially this week, as Jaeger-LeCoultre is hosting its 1931 Polo Club experience inside the boutique until the 28th of November. This is a rare, once-a-year opportunity, if even that, to learn about the history of the iconic Reverso while indulging in exceptional Swiss chocolates crafted to tell its story!
