Terms and Conditions – “Win the Omega Speedmaster” Competition
1. Promoter
The promoter is Watch Advice Pty Ltd (ABN 44 633 660 992) of 13 Bribie Place, Forest Lake, QLD 4078 (“Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania aged 18 years or over.
Residents of South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory are not eligible to enter.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. Competition Period
The competition commences at 12:00am (AEST) on 1 November 2025 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 30 November 2025 (“Competition Period”). Entries received outside this time will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must during the Competition Period:
- Visit www.watchadvice.com.au and complete the online entry form;
- Subscribe to the Watch Advice newsletter via the entry form; and
- Answer the competition question in 50 words or less as prompted on the entry form.
- Contestants must also follow Watch Advice on Instagram and tag at least one person on the competition post
Each entrant may only enter once. Entries must be the entrant’s original work and must not infringe any third-party rights.
5. Nature of the Competition
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged by the Promoter based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the competition theme.
6. Prizes
- Major Prize: One (1) Omega Speedmaster White Dial watch valued at A$14,375 RRP.
- Minor Prizes: Ten (10) VISA Gift Cards valued at A$100 each, (plus activation fee paid for by the promoter)
The total prize pool is valued at A$15,500 (including GST).
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
7. Judging and Winner Selection
Judging will take place at the Promoter’s offices on 5 December 2025.
All valid entries will be reviewed, and winners selected by the Watch Advice editorial team.
The entry judged to be the best overall will win the major prize. The next ten best entries will each receive a minor prize.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days of judging and may also be announced on the Watch Advice website and social media channels.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next best entry as judged.
9. Prize Delivery
The major prize will be delivered to the winner’s nominated Australian address via registered post or courier. VISA Gift Cards will be sent electronically or via post, at the Promoter’s discretion.
10. Use of Entries and Personal Information
By entering, participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and publish submitted entries (in whole or in part) for promotional purposes, including on the Watch Advice website and social media, without additional compensation.
Personal information will be collected and handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at www.watchadvice.com.au/privacy.
11. General Conditions
- The Promoter’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, or misdirected entries.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant in connection with this competition or the prizes awarded.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
